Greetings from Montana FFA!
Over 2,000 FFA members, teachers, alumni, and supporters will fill the Montana ExpoPark in Great Falls, March 25-28, 2020.
These members will gather from across the state to participate in their annual Montana FFA State Convention. It is our pleasure to extend our cordial invitation to you and your organization to join us for the Career and Trade Show. Each year, the convention brings together middle school and high school agricultural students from over 99 communities. The four-day State Convention will feature outstanding speakers, daily workshops, and the Montana FFA Career and Trade Show on March 26-27.
For companies, this is a great tool to market your business. Businesses, Universities, Training Programs, Clubs, and Associations benefit as FFA members are all approaching graduation and wish to further their education and career progression. We encourage you to make your display as interactive as possible to engage our students! We are more than happy to help you come up with ideas. Here are a few of our suggestions to actively engage students:
• Competitive and interactive games such as trivia, contests, cornhole, or other engaging activities at your booth are a great way to engage with the students! Students love a good competition, and it is a great way to start a conversation regarding what you do.
• Recruit! If you have job openings, internships, or scholarship opportunities, please let the students know. This is a great way to market your company or college to students in the FFA.
The Trade Show starts at 10:00 am Thursday, March 26th (setup begins at 8:00 am) and runs through Friday, March 27th at 4:00 pm (tear down). The daily Trade Show times are from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday and 9:00am to 4:00pm on Friday. Tables and chairs for each booth will be provided. Electricity can also be provided upon request.
All exhibitors are invited to attend the Career & Industry Panel at 11:00am on Thursday March 26, as well as the Thursday evening General Session at 6:30pm. These are also held at the Four Seasons Arena.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us with questions of any kind. Thank you very much for your time and commitment to excellence!
Sincerely,
Montana FFA Foundation
