The Montana FFA Foundation is excited to kick off registration for the 89th Annual Montana FFA Foundation Career and Trade Show, held in conjunction with our State FFA Convention. The Career & Trade Show will take place April 4-5, 2019 on the Montana State University campus in Bozeman.


Greetings from Montana FFA Foundation!

Over 2,000 FFA jackets and supporters will fill the Montana State University campus in Bozeman, April 4-5, 2019.

These members will gather from across the state to participate in their annual Montana FFA State Convention. It is my great pleasure to extend our cordial invitation to you and your organization to join us for the Career and Trade Show. Each year the convention brings together agricultural students from over 97 communities. The four-day event will feature outstanding speakers, daily workshops and the Montana FFA Foundation’s Career and Trade Show.


For companies, this is a great tool to market your business. Colleges, Universities, Training Programs, Clubs, and Associations benefit as FFA members are all approaching graduation and want to further their education. We encourage you to make your display as interactive as possible to engage the students actively. We are more than happy to help you come up with ideas, here are a few suggestions, utilize at your own discretion:

• Competitive and interactive games such as trivia, coloring contests, darts, or other engaging activities at your booth are a great way to engage with the students! Students love a good competition, and it is a great way to start a conversation regarding what you do.

• Recruit! If you have job openings, internships, or scholarship opportunities, please let the students know, this is a great way to market your company or college to students who are welcome to opportunities.

The Montana FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. We believe that through your participation and partnership with FFA you too can help to make a positive difference in the lives of students. The Trade Show starts at 10:00 am Thursday, April 4th (setup begins at 8:00am) and runs through Friday, April 5th at 4:00 pm (tear down), with time for you to make it to Thursday’s General Session if you so choose. The daily Trade Show times are from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday and 9:00am to 4:00pm on Friday. Tables and chairs for each booth will be provided. Electricity can also be provided upon request.
